LOST DOG NORHT ST/KENDALL RD AREA

Postby JGERMANO on Wed Jun 17, 2009 7:45 pm

I took my dog to the Frasca soccer field and she ran under the fence into the woods. She is a English setter, she is white with brown spots and her name is mollie.. She is very friendly and would not hurt a fly.. She will probably run her self exhausted and will go to a house or someone. She has a green collar on and she has all her tags and my phone number on one of them She is also afraid of cars so she will probably not go on the street or near it. If you find her please call the number on the tag or PM me. She is a very important part of the family and the kids are upset. Thanks to all

She has just been found on east street. I would like to thank everyone for their help in finding her and for all the kind words. This has been draining but with a happy ending. She will be going to boot camp to stop the running after this episode so it doesn't happen again.lol If anyone knows a good dog trainer please let me know. Again thanks to evryone on this site for the help in finding her.

I think there is a new dog training business next to Wicked Cheesy Pizza.

I've worked with Crazy Canines in the past. While I haven't utilized their training program myself, I've used their pet sitting service for a few years. The owner (Tony) is wonderful and has a real passion for dogs and has been doing this for quite some time. His website (http://www.crazy-canines.com) lists his services and prices.

Whatever happened with that dog that was found in Tewksbury that had been abused? Lots of people offered to help. Did the dog wind up in a good home in Tewksbury? Did the dog recover ok?

Canine Magic in Billerica-our dog used to lunge and pull and dart, and now we have complete control, even our youngest can walk him easily. Her classes were individual and group. good luck.

Command Pawformance in Billerica. (They have a website.)
We, too, started boot camp after our "pup" got loose a few months ago. Have been very happy with their service so far.

Liz lives around the corner from me, and has the nicest 3 dogs you could ever meet. She is a great trainer and boarder, does group and private obedience.

Great that the dog was found.. But, there are signs posted at the opening to the soccer fields "No dogs allowed". It irks me when people completely do not respect that, and think it does not apply to them. A soccer field is not a place for dogs, and many kids are afraid of them.

Hopefully next year/season, this rule will be enforced.

Again though, so happy for you that your pup was found safe and sound :)
