There is a need? Are you this naive? There is a need for parasite developers to line their pockets.

Yeah, we SURELY had a need for this dense complex up there by the interstate to ensure narcotics dealers had a convenient place to conduct business directly on the drug pipeline route between Lawrence and Lowell as acknowledged by our TPD themselves.

If there is a need, how do Boston and Cambridge get a free pass to build thousands of $2500+/month apartments and multi-million dollar condos while pushing the ever shrinking middle class out?

Simple math: the geography of the town has not changed but our FD and PD budgets and personnel are growing at an ever increasing rate (a pace far greater than the comparable increases in tax revenue). The more we build, the worse the deficit becomes. Take a look at your tax bill from five years ago and then look at ten years ago (My taxes were $4,626 in 2007 and last year they were $7,180 = 55% increase).

The developers are making money at our expense.

Lastly, let's not forget to thank Sewer Man for his grand plan to sewer the whole town which opened us up to all of this rapid growth (also at our expense unless you are new to town and have forgotten about the $100 million we are still paying for).
