For your information – starting today – Treble Cove Road – Billerica - will be closed for work – Detour via East Street and Rutland.
FROM BILLERICA DPW-
As you may know, the Engineering Division plans to begin work on Treble Cove Road from the Carlisle Town Line to Nashua Road (Route 4) starting Tuesday May 31st. On Tuesday, they plan to begin lowering structure and excavating along the edge of road. The road will be open on Tuesday. The Contractor hopes that reclaim on side roads will be complete Wednesday or Thursday of next week at which time reclaim will begin on Treble Cove Road. Treble Cove Road will need to be closed to through traffic during reclaim, grading and paving processes. This work is anticipated to take between four and seven days to complete. The four to seven days may not be consecutive due to weather or other constraints. Temporary detour signs will be placed along the route.
We hope to have two message boards placed at the limits of the work by the end of the day that will inform traffic/residents about the upcoming work.
Towards the end of the working day, we plan to update you on the work proposed for the following day.
Please contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You,
