Hello PatchEditor,

Please save the taste of our town and do a food review of Mastrorilli's.... After seeing French's on FoxNews ZipTrip today, we really need to redeem our level of taste....

I can tell you that we definitely have something inthe works that will shaine a spotlight on Tewksbury's wonderful restaurants and chefs!! We are blesed to be sure and Bob you really touched on the great varity.

Haven't been in Pizza Mia but my wife says its wonderful. Jimbos is a personal favorite of mine.
Luna Rosa is another hidden treasure I think.
Havent stopped in Bradford's or Airport but count on it I will.
I'll test Long's because I can tell you i'm picky about my chinese food.
TCC is amazing.. went there for luch the other day with the Chamber folks ... deserts that will set my diet back months and those onion rings!!!!!
Been steering clear of treacherous donut shops (except for DD for coffee) but after this morning I have to check out the cheeseburger donut!!! Classic!!!!

OK this was just informal but I can promise we will be spotlighting restaurants soon .... most are featured in our directory also.

And hey, dont be too hard on french's .... awesome scallops ....

Just my two cents re TCC-the food is just okay.

French's? Yuch-and I only went inside to eat once and the place was filthy-I had brought a friend from the west coast there and was embarrassed to have brought them there! And their "catering"food is nothing to write home about.

Re Donna's, I am not a fan of their donuts-BUT they are like homemade, heavy-which is why I am not a fan. But their muffins are the best I have ever had! I can't eat a muffin from anywhere else! And the service from this great family owned business is wonderful! Good coffee too!

I am a fan of Vic's for breakfast-will have to try the Bradford and the Airport now!

Ordered from Mastrorilli's for the second time last night to take advantage of the "TI" pizza special which they are STILL honoring when you mention TI. Also had a calzone and the chicken cacciatore which were equally delicious AND plentiful! Leftovers tonight! LOL French's, IMO, is a bit grungy but their soups (husband loves the chowder) and onion rings are great and to his credit, Phil DOES do a lot for the kids in the community, donates tons of food to TMHS All Night Long, etc. I agree that they should have showcased the AIRPORT DINER being new and quirky with its airplane decor. TCC IMO, is all about the ambiance as opposed to food. Jimbo's is the BEST for roast beef, Long's for Chinese (locally) and my pizza picky kid likes Villa Roma and Pizza Mia. :D

I read the Patch the other day and I like it. The only complaint I have is the typo's. Typo's are a pet peeve of mine. Perhaps they need a proofreader or something, but they spelled Pupkis Rd as Putkis, Office Voto as Votto, and there were a few others that I don't recall off the top of my head.

Something like street names and police officers names really should be double checked before printed... just sayin'

I LIKED that they posted the weekly mtg./committee agendas with a quick summary....EVERYONE should check it out...nice to have such easy access to Tewksbury news online.

I agree Swamper! :)
Nice way to check in on local news. Good too, for comments.
Photos are nice.
I definitely "book-marked" it, just like TI.org -- and check in a couple of times each day. Yeh, I know, too much time on my hands.. ha ha
