AUTHOR VISIT: 'John F. Kennedy in New England' with Raymond P. Sinibaldi (*RR)
Tuesday, January 16, 7pm

Raymond P. Sinibaldi, author of "John F. Kennedy in New England," will share images of memorable moments of John F. Kennedy at home in New England. Any fan of JFK is sure to enjoy this multimedia presentation. Q&A and book signing to follow the event for those interested.

CONCERT: Nico Rivers, Indie Rock & Folk (*RR)
Wednesday, January 17, 10:30am

Enjoy a concert from indie rock and folk singer/songwriter Nico River, whose music has been featured on several area radio stations, including WAAF 107.3 FM and 92.5 FM The River. Nico has been performing professionally for more than six years, and has played at several noteworthy festivals and venues, including South by Southwest, Singer/Songwriter Cape May, and House of Blues Hollywood. Complimentary coffee and munchkins.

Adult Crafternoon
Wednesday, January 17, 1:30pm

Calling all knitters, crocheters, needle workers, beaders, and colorers! Bring your own craft project to the Library and work on it while enjoying conversation with other crafters. (Please, no crafts involving glue or paint.) Take advantage of the many books available at the library to get ideas for your next project or to explore a new craft.

AUTHOR VISIT: 'Comeback! Tom Brady's Two Year Mission To Overcome Deflategate' with Vin Femia (*RR)
Thursday, January 18, 7pm

Vin Femia, author of "Comeback! Tom Brady's Two Year Mission To Overcome Deflategate," will talk Patriots football with fellow fans as the team is in the midst of ANOTHER Super Bowl run. Q&A and book signing to follow the event for those interested.

WINTER FILM SERIES: Victoria & Abdul (Dinner & A Movie) (*RR)
Friday, January 19, 12:30pm AND 7pm

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- Victoria & Abdul, a biographical drama starring Judi Dench and Ali Fazal. Queen Victoria strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young Indian clerk named Abdul Karim. Rated PG-13. 111 minutes. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Pizza and water will be served from 6:30pm to 7pm. A $2 donation is suggested. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library and Tewksbury Lions Club. Can’t make it at 7pm? The film will also be screening at 12:30pm.

Pajamarama Story Time
Tuesday, January 16, 7pm

For ages 3 to 7. Put on your pjs and have fun at a nighttime story time! We'll have stories, songs, movement and more! Pajamas are not required but we'll have ours on! No registration required.

Drop-In Toddler Craft
Thursday, January 18, 10:30am-11:30am

For 2 year olds, ages 18 months and up. Drop by this morning to make a fun craft with us! Limit of 1 craft per child, please.

Dads & Donuts Story Time
Saturday, January 20, 10:30am

For ages 3 to 7 (older and younger siblings are always welcome). Bring your favorite guy (be he a dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor or friend) or other caregiver and come enjoy a story time of songs, stories, dancing, instruments and more! We'll have snacks and drinks for all ages afterwards in the Craft Room. No registration required.

Teen Events

Teen Justice League Book Group: 9-12 (*RR)
Tuesday, January 16, 6pm

Do you like reading, need community service hours, and want to help make the world a better place? Then join the Social Justice Book Group! Each month we will read a book on a different issue and then meet to discuss the book. After talking about the book, the group will come up with ways to bring awareness or alleviate the problem. The first 5 teens who sign up will receive a copy of January's title "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas. only teens who participate in the meeting will receive service hours. Open to teens in grades 9-12.

TBT Silent Library: Grades 6-8 (*RR)
Wednesday, January 17, 3pm

Can you hold it together while enduring challenges geared towards getting you to make noise? The name of this game is Silent Library and -in order to win- you must endure "interesting" challenges without making a sound. Snacks will be served at the beginning of the program. Open to anyone in grades 6-8.

Teen Volunteer Training: Ages 14-18 (*RR)
Wednesday, January 17, 6pm

Are you between the ages of 14 and 18 and want to be a library volunteer? Then come to this volunteer training day! All teens who participate will receive community service hours. After completing the training and passing a basic shelving test, teens can choose to become volunteers at the library!
