Done it. Probably a good idea to list this in the "General Announcement" area. It would draw a larger crowd.

Nice to see our neighbor, Wilmington, get a prize. They really deserve it. I know our PAC works hard and also deserve it. I think that Wilmington does an outstanding job.

Liberty Mutual is running this contest again, so let's visit the website and VOTE VOTE VOTE! Spread the word!!!! E-mail your friends and family in town and let's see if we can (hopefully) get $10,000 this year for our 4th of July Celebration!!!!!

Remember that even if we don't win, there will STILL be a 4th of July Celebration... this would just be an added financial bonus!!

Thank you in advance for your help!

For those who haven't heard, Wilmington won again for "mid-size town." :? We'll still have fireworks, but an extra $10,000 would have been really nice. While I don't begrudge Wilmington, I cannot believe we cannot get enough people to take the quiz for Tewksbury. Oh, well. We've always got next year.

Winners for 2011:

Small City/Town Winners
Brockport Village, N.Y.
Chester, Calif.
Dahlonega, Ga.
Springfield, Ga.

Medium City/Town Winners:
Bozeman, Mont.
New Britain, Conn.
Wilmington, Mass.

Large City/Town Winners:
Durham, N.C.
Rockford, Ill.
Springfield, Ill.

We in Wilmington have these Liberty Mutual contests down to a science. After being forwarded this quiz by nearly 30 different people, I had a good feeling. :D This is the third $10,000 grant we've won from Liberty Mutual in the past 2 years - 2 for Fourth of July festivities and 1 for our fire department. Big congtrats to our Fourth of July Committee, elected officials, community leaders, and local media for getting the word out to virutally the entire town.
