The Tewksbury Patriotic Activities Committee is presenting the annual Veterans Day Remembrance Service on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:45 AM on Tewksbury Town Common. Tewksbury Veterans will place commemorative wreaths on all the War Memorials.

Daniel Siracusa of The Siracusa Project will sing the National Anthem. The Tewksbury Swinging Seniors will entertain the crowd with patriotic songs. The Boy & Girl Scouts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The Tewksbury High School Band, under the direction of Andrew Walsh, will be on hand to provide patriotic music. Many of our elected officials will be there to address the crowds.

We are very pleased to have Command Chief Master Sergeant Kenneth A. Williams as our guest speaker. Chief Master Sergeant Kenneth A. Williams is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. As the command chief master sergeant, he plays a critical role in the readiness of the 900 enlisted Airmen and serves primarily as a conduit of information between the commander and enlisted personnel. He advises the ESC commander on concerns, attitudes, morale, welfare, effective utilization of the enlisted force and other matters that affect readiness. Chief Williams upholds Air Force standards, serves on advisory councils and maintains a close relationship with the local community. He also serves on committees developing and implementing Air Force policies and programs and performs other specific duties at the commander's discretion.

Please come out and join us in honoring our Tewksbury Veterans.
